The brass conductors have been chemically cleaned for superior electrical conductivity and the rubber in the slots has been replaced with with new silicon rubber - better than new - the silicon won't deteriorate. About who your're looking at :- The Minic Road/Rail Shop is the only shop in the world which deals exclusively in the Minic Motorways range produced by Triang as a complementary roadway system to the Triang Railways range.   The Minic Motorways range had two aspects to it, one, a range of racing/rally cars and this aspect was very similar to Scalextric and the other was the range of cars and commercial vehicles which could be seen around the streets of the day. The track and vehicles were roughly 00 scale and sections with both road slots and rail tracks allowed the complete integration of the Road and Rail systems. Although the integrated railway tracks are Triang, converter rails are available to join modern trackage systems to it.   Minic Motorways runs on the same 12 volts D.C. as the railways systems of the time and today run on. Modern Scalextric and Hornby controllers will control Minic Motorways systems.   There is a huge range of Junctions, Bridges, Road/Rail Interchanges, Level Crossings, Vehicles, Buildings, Street Furniture etc in the shop at present all in superb refurbished and new condition.
